Ginecomasty
With the term “ginecomasty” we mean a mammary gland’s projection in males. This problem which hasn’t “fisiopatologico” importance, give rise to serious psychological and of adaptation problems, mainly in patients of young age.
Ginecomasty can be:
-glandular, in which increase of tissue is caused by hypertrophy of the mammary gland;
-fat, that is pseudo-ginecomasty, in which adipose tissue’s proliferation is in relation with concomitant obesity;
-mixed, where central glandular member is surrounded with abnormal adipose’s tissue…
Which aesthetic problems we can solve:
-too much developed male breast
-excess fat in male thorax
Operation’s techniques:
When ginecomasty remains after puberty, the only possible treatment is the removal of mammary gland in excess by surgical operation, unless there is an excess of adipose’s mass so we can intervene with fat’s liposuction.
Scars:
Scars will be practically invisible.
