Mentoplasty

Mentoplasty   is the corrective operation which increase or reduce chin' dimension, harmonizing it with the whole face. In reduction's case, we can intervene on flabby's tissue of the chin and/or the bony part. We can solve the case of a not much protruding chin with prosthesis' systems opportunely modelled.
Mentoplasty is often used with rhinoplasty  in profileplasty to get better the whole profile. These aesthetic operation can't be performed if there are problems about anomalous dental occlusion. In this case the functional problem has to be solved with corrective operation. 

Operation's techniques:
To reduce, surgical techniques need partial bony removal ; to add we need prosthesis sometimes individually modelled.
